  I am Dr. Fadi Kamal Alshaban. I am qualified and experienced in allopathic and integrative functional medicine with adequate education and background in healthcare management.

  I adopt the Health-Oriented paradigm that advocates the holistic personalized, predictive preventive and patient-centered approach that emphasizes the transition from racing treatment of disease to prevention and safeguard optimum health, vitality and wellness through the conscious participation of patients to start healthy behavioral changes in diet and lifestyle and after the proper clinical evaluation of patients and the appropriate investigation by ordering the necessary genomic and functional testing that address the root cause of chronic lifestyle diseases. Consequently this approach will contribute to the good quality of life, to the reduction of the incidence of chronic diseases, to the reduction of the cost of medical services and to the improvement of longevity.

  I gained solid clinical, educational, teaching and managerial experience through my work into different healthcare systems in different countries.

• I worked as a general surgeon for 28 years in Jordan, KSA and France and I worked as Integrative Physician in Dubai (2013 & 2014). I hold full responsibility and accountability for the care, the diagnosis and treatment of patients in elective and emergency situations. And I hold full responsibility and accountability for teaching and supervising interns, residents and junior surgeons and physicians in my team. Besides providing the necessary surgical/medical care, we focused on patient safety, quality assurance, evidence-based medicine, up-to-date knowledge.  As well patient and family satisfaction, team-work and disclosure culture were in the heart of our daily clinical activities.
• I worked as a Medical Director for 18 months. I was responsible for establishing and enforcing patient safety, quality assurance, disclosure culture, and infection control and emphasizing patient and family satisfaction.
