Dr. Elizabeth Kolawole comes from humble beginnings as the child of West African immigrants, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She witnessed the hardship of her parents; as they navigated survival in a foreign country they implemented a strong work ethic among the family. From the time she could talk she always knew she wanted to help people as a medical doctor. She grew up watching; "Dr. Quin Medicine Woman '' and wanted to be the doctor that managed everything. This passion paved the way to what would become a very compassionate and caring doctor. The thing that sets Dr. Kolawole apart is that she listens. She takes the time to actually listen to her patients, her patient's families, and every symptom, condition, and concern. With her ability to listen to patient’s symptoms, her compassionate demeanor and her strong work ethic, Dr. Kolawole is a doctor that is unmatched. As Dr. Kolawole's career progressed ,she felt that she had a lot of unanswered questions not answered by her traditional medical education. Therefore, she sought more knowledge about alternative medicine so that she could help even more people with holistic non traditional integrative solutions to health. By incorporating holistic solutions to age old medical problems she is able to cure people of chronic disease not just treat symptoms.
Outside the white coat, Dr. Kolawole loves to give back and she volunteers her time helping the underserved in the local community through various ways. She also loves music and loves to dance, especially salsa dancing. She is an avid reader and has read multiple books throughout the years in a variety of genres including; romance, self-help, philosophy, old classics, french childhood stories, and sci-fi. She also is the founder of a nonprofit entitled; Helping Each Aspirant Reach Their Tomorrow Inc. This nonprofit desires to give shy and introverted young women the skills to accomplish their goals and desires, through leadership exercises, mentorship, and community.
One thing that you should know about Dr. Kolawole loves her mother dearly and her mother is integrally involved in the practice. Her mother has been the inspiration and support behind the dynamic Dr. Kolawole.
