I am a medical doctor who graduated from medical school in 2002, with a long-standing academic and clinical background in gastroenterology, hepatology, and integrative nutrition-based care.
Since 2010, I have been serving as a Professor of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Ain Shams University, alongside my clinical work as a Certified Consultant of Clinical Nutrition in Egypt. Over the years, I have established and developed several Clinical Nutrition departments in major hospitals, contributing to the integration of nutrition into mainstream medical practice.
In 2020, I became a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), expanding my clinical approach to address root causes, systems biology, and personalized care models. In 2025, I further advanced my practice as a certified Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) Provider.
My clinical expertise also includes IV Nutrient Therapy and Peptide Therapy, which I provide across different wellness centers using internationally recognized, evidence-based protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
In addition to my medical and functional training, I hold a diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), certified by Ain Shams University, and I integrate CBT principles as part of a holistic wellness and lifestyle medicine approach—addressing the mind-body connection as a core element of healing and long-term well-being.
My practice focuses on preventive, functional, and longevity-oriented care, bridging academic medicine with integrative and wellness-based therapies to support sustainable health outcomes.
