  I am a board certified Ob/Gyn in private practice since 2000. My special interests include operative hysteroscopy, incisionless sterilization, ultrasonography, fibroid management, uterine ablation, bioidentical hormones, and integrative/functional medicine.

  After completing an integrative medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine I implemented an integrative and functional medicine approach to my practice. Through this patient centered approach attention is given to the patient as a whole; incorporating lifestyle changes, natural hormones, nutrition, botanicals and nutraceuticals for treatment. Important in this approach is the focus on prevention. The root cause of dysfunction is explored keeping in mind the significant roles of lifestyle choices, environmental exposure and genetic influence. I am using this approach to help manage menopause symptoms, PMS, sexual dysfunction, polycystic ovarian syndrome, painful periods, irregular periods and preconception care amongst other conditions.

  My own personal interest in physical and mental health and wellness drives my passion for providing excellent medical care and empowering women to take charge of their own health. My goal is to provide comprehensive health care and education to my patients and assist them in making wise health choices and informed medical decisions. The well being of my patient is my top priority while at the same time exhibiting compassion and understanding.
