Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician | Functional Medicine Practitioner | Founder, CMassMD
Dr. Christina Massinople is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with over 25 years of clinical experience spanning emergency medicine, hospital-based care, and now functional medicine. She is a Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (FMCP-M) through the Institute for Functional Medicine and a certified Holistic Fertility Practitioner.
Through her concierge-style practice, CMass MD, Dr. Massinople now focuses on helping high-performing women reverse chronic symptoms, rebalance hormones, and reclaim their energy using a personalized, root-cause approach. Her signature framework, the RENEW Method, addresses gut health, nutrient status, adrenal resilience, detoxification, and hormone balance — offering patients a clear roadmap to restore vitality and long-term health.
Dr. Massinople earned her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine, completed her internship in Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University, and her Internal Medicine residency at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN, where she served as Chief Resident and later as Staff Attending. She has trained and taught extensively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
After years of witnessing the limitations of the conventional medical model — especially when it came to chronic illness, hormone imbalance, and women’s health — she began seeking a more comprehensive and preventative approach. That led her to complete advanced training in functional medicine, where she now combines the science of root-cause medicine with nutrition, lifestyle, and epigenetic insights to create real, sustainable change for her patients.
While Dr. Massinople previously co-founded a holistic fertility program, her current work centers on a broader vision: helping women at every stage of life take back control of their health through education, and personalized care. Her programs have helped countless patients reverse insulin resistance, manage menopause naturally, improve cognitive and metabolic function, and feel empowered in their health decisions.
Based in Southern Alabama — where functional medicine remains largely underrecognized — Dr. Massinople is a passionate advocate for changing the conversation around chronic illness. She believes the future of medicine lies in empowering patients to understand and heal their bodies, rather than masking symptoms with prescriptions.
