Charles Lerner, MD, FACP

Charles Lerner, M.D., FACP received his Medical Degree (M.D.) from St. Christopher’s College of Medicine in England in 2005.He completed training in Internal Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine. He has held a medical school teaching position at Mercer University School of Medicine and is currently Affiliate Professor of Medicine at The University of South Florida College of Medicine, The University of Central Florida College of Medicine, FSU College of Medicine and Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine. Doctor Lerner is board certified from The American Board of Internal Medicine.

He completed his B.S. degree in Biology from Auburn University and was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.

Doctor Lerner currently sees patients in consultation, accepting new patients for diagnosis and coordination of care; most of the patients have multiple medical conditions. His clinical interests include: Internal Medicine and Medical Education. His additional interests and activities involve Anti-Aging Medicine, Medical Marijuana, Neuromodulators, Face Fillers, Weight Loss, Bio-Identical Hormones.

Specializing in diseases and conditions including Abdominal Pain, Anemia, Asthma, Back Pain, COPD, Cirrhosis, CAD, Cough, Depression, Diabetes, Dyspnea, ED, Esophagitis, GERD, Headache, Heart Disease, Heart Failure, HTN, Kidney Disease, PVD, and more.

Doctor Lerner is a member of The American Medical Association, The American College of Physicians, The Florida Chapter of American College of Physicians, The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and Fellow of The American College of Physicians.

Voted as 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2014 America’s Top Physicians. Top Doctor Celebration, Florida 2019. Golden Apple Award UCF College of Medicine 2019. He has been published in The American Journal of Medicine. Doctor Lerner served as Research Volunteer with the National Institutes of Health ( NIH ) and Center for Disease Control.

Doctor Lerner served in U.S. military 20 years and  trained as a Flight Surgeon.
