Charles Bradford IV, MD

Dr. Charles Raymond Bradford IV grew up in Scottsboro, Alabama, where life was simple and medicine was always close. His father was a family physician, and some of Chad's earliest memories were made in hospital hallways.

That world shaped him. After graduating with honors from Auburn University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, he completed his Family Medicine residency in Huntsville before returning home to build a practice from the ground up.

But it was his own health journey that transformed the kind of doctor he became. A diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis gave him a patient's perspective on chronic illness  and a firsthand understanding of what conventional medicine alone can and can't do. Growing up around farms, gardens, and homemade remedies, he had always respected the healing power of nature. That respect eventually led him to pursue training in herbal medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, weaving those principles into his clinical practice.

He has also walked through personal valleys, including his decision to pursue sobriety in June 2022, that deepened his empathy and clarified his purpose. Today, Dr. Bradford blends clinical expertise with functional and integrative medicine, helping patients reduce unnecessary medications and get to the root of what's driving their health challenges. He believes healthcare is about more than treating illness. It's about educating, empowering, and walking alongside people at every stage of life.
