Dubai Certification in Advanced Injectables
This essential certification course for fillers, toxins and PRP is designed to provide physicians with an intensive and clinical update in the key procedures that are part of aesthetic injectables sub-specialty in aesthetic medicine. Approved by the Dubai Health Authority, and accredited by the A4M, this represents the latest professional & academic credential that physicians planning to integrate or already practicing these procedures must add to their profile.
What does DHA Approval Mean?
- DHA approval means that the course curriculum was approved to be compliant with training requirements set by the Dubai Health Authority towards clinical privileges allowing physicians and GPs to perform Toxin/Fillers procedures in their practice in Dubai. Dubai Requirements
- Active A4M membership
- CV/Resume
- Photocopy of degree (M.D., M.B.B.S., D.D.S., or D.O) from an accredited medical school
- Photocopy of an active medical license
- Duly filled CASE LOG FORM showing participation in 10 injectables cases under supervision
- Notarized affidavit or letter of Good Standing
- Completion of online Module I, hands-on Module IV, and hands-on Module IV-B
Aesthetic Module I

Upon completion of this 24hr online module, the participant will:
- Have a thorough understanding of facial anatomy including the skeletal structure, vessels, nerves and soft tissue to allow safe and effective aesthetic treatments
- Develop an understanding of ideal facial features including the proportions and dimensions that create beauty, which is essential in creating aesthetic treatment planning
- Develop an expert understanding of the pharmacology of the various Botulinum Toxins available for aesthetic and therapeutic use and to develop a working knowledge of these products and their applications
- Analyze the "best practice" standards for injection techniques for all of the Botulinum Toxins and their dosing equivalents for the treatment of facial muscle rebalancing for youthful expression. (This includes the treatment of frown lines, brow furrows, brow elevation, crow's feet, bunny lines, lip lines, nasolabial folds, marionette folds, aging jawline, and aging neck.)
- Participate in interactive video sessions with leading experts performing botulinum toxin Injections for aesthetic enhancement demonstrating all of the known applications
- Understand the incidence, prevalence, pathophysiology and treatment of hyperhidrosis
- Understand the importance of facial revolumizing and the appropriate volumes necessary to achieve a natural and youthful appearance
- Understand the properties of the various facial fillers available for aesthetic enhancement including autologous fat, cell augmented fat, the various collagens (Zyderm, Zyplast, Cosmoderm, Cosmoplast, Evolence), the various hyaluronans (Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Prevelle, Hydrelle), poly-L-Lactic acid (Sculptra), calcium hydroxylappetite (Radiesse), and silicone (with this understanding, learn how to choose the appropriate filler for individual aesthetic corrections)
- Learn the "best practice" injection techniques, products, and volumes
- Participate in video interactive session with leading experts performing facial filler for facial aesthetic enhancements
- Review the potential adverse events with the aesthetic use of both botulinum toxins and facial fillers and effective methods to avoid and treat these complications
- Learn how to develop a successful aesthetic practice with pricing strategies, marketing strategies, scheduling and staffing
Upon completion of this practical module with 'hands-on' practice, the participants will be confident with:
- The muscles of facial expression as well as the history, safety, side effects and possible contraindications of BOTULINUM TOXIN A and Dermal Fillers
- Various techniques including retrograde and anterograde, serial, fanning, and cross-hatching
- The use of blunt tip cannula for filler injections
- The artistic aspect of facial sculpting and replacing facial volume through individual facial analysis and using advanced injection techniques with BOTULINUM TOXIN A and Dermal Fillers
- The different fillers available to use in the art of facial rejuvenation
- How to treat cosmetic concerns including traditional areas of treatment, such as glabella and horizontal forehead lines, as well as bunny lines, pebble chin, gummy smile, vertical lip lines, depressed smile, prominent neck bands and lines, hand rejuvenation, lower eye jelly roll, nasal tip elevation, lip augmentation and more
- Extrinsic factors contributing to the aging process
- How to perform a non-surgical brow lift (one of the most popular patient requests)
