Barbara Fisher, PhD, CBSM, BCN

Dr. Barbara C. Fisher, Ph.D., CBSM, DBSM, BCN is a fully licensed psychologist/neuropsychologist, board certified in behavioral sleep medicine. She has received a diplomate in behavioral sleep medicine and board certification in neurofeedback in addition to completing a sleep fellowship at the JFK Neuroscience Center in New Jersey. Dr. Fisher is the clinical director of United Psychological Services; a comprehensive behavioral health facility providing neuropsychological as well as psychological evaluation, therapeutic services and psychiatry in addition to many other behavioral health therapies and treatments. She was the co-administrator of a nationwide NIH grant study addressing PLMD and ADHD and has completed research on RLS and ADHD. Dr. Fisher is the author of four books on ADHD and a peer reviewed journal article citing the results of 20 years of ADHD neuropsychological testing and has completed advocacy training with the American Academy of Neurology resulting in a continuing outreach project for dementia patients. Dr. Fisher is involved in ongoing research addressing traumatic brain injury, dementia and ADHD related to the benefit of cognitive stimulation and training.
