Dr. Ari Calhoun, ND, Founder and Owner of Wholesome Brain Medicine and Fellow and Faculty member of the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs, is a naturopathic physician specializing in optimizing neurodevelopment from preconception through childhood and addressing complex pediatric neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric conditions. Her clinical work focuses on identifying and addressing underlying contributors to challenges such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and neuroimmune-mediated conditions, with particular emphasis on early-life brain development, maternal health, and individualized, root-cause care.

Dr. Calhoun is the co-founder of the Vaccine Empowerment Program, an educational initiative designed to help families better understand immune development, individual risk factors, and evidence-informed strategies to support children before and after vaccination. Through this work, she translates complex scientific literature into balanced, practical guidance to support thoughtful, individualized decision-making.
