Anjali Hooda, MBBS, MD

I was a National level Swimmer till High School and that ensured a very healthy childhood and teenage. After getting into academic setup physical activity decreased drastically which resulted in a higher BMI and weight gain. Marriage and childbirth lead to more weight issues, which were difficult to address even with my medical background. In 2006 I went to the USA for my Medical Residency Program and I weighed 90 kgs. /200 lbs. My focus to lose weight and desire to find a sustainable solution to Healthy Weight Loss led me to do my Fellowship in Obesity Medicine and Clinical Nutrition under Dr. Christopher Still, DO, who is ranked among the top Obesity Medicine Physicians in the USA. After completing the Fellowship, I joined a Medical Practice with Dr. Kenneth Storch, MD, PhD, and in my opinion one of the best Physician Nutrition Specialist in the world.

During all these medical trainings and learning's I lost 35 Kgs./77 lbs. of my excess weight and gained Medical Knowledge in the field of my specialties. I would like to share my experiences and knowledge with everyone facing these problems that I faced as a Person, a Woman, a Working Professional and a Mother. In these times of Life Style Stress, High Medical Costs, Adulteration and Pollution this wonderful field of Preventive Medicine will be the future of Health Care. Spending a fraction of your time and money in prevention will save you in multiples in curing the medical conditions.
