Amy Carter

Amy Carter, DO, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist in private practice. Dr. Carter received her undergraduate degree in biology from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and was awarded her medical degree from Des Moines University in 2003. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2007. Dr. Carter is a partner in Plaza Obstetrics and Gynecology and founder of Kansas City Wellness Center and Medical Spa now AC Wellness.

Dr. Carter opened Kansas City Wellness Center and Medical Spa in 2015 to serve as a comprehensive healthy aging and aesthetic center. Kansas City Wellness Center focuses on education and enhancing each client’s natural beauty in a relaxed, comfortable and private setting. Dr. Carter has had extensive training in hormone therapy, weight loss, nutrition, sexual wellness, aesthetic injectables, lasers, and more!

Dr. Carter is a strong believer that a healthy diet and exercise along with a positive outlook are fundamental for overall wellness of mind and body.
