 I do not believe I can fix the gut or hormones without them being intertwined, due to the estrobolome and countless jobs our microbiome controls and works within our detoxification systems- including liver, gallbladder and upper digestion (stomach acid, pancreatic enzymes and bile). Upper digestion controls the microbiome downstream, which is why when people become deficient in stomach acid and pancreatic enzymes and bile, then the yeast and bacteria overgrow and cause SIBO, and countless variations of dysbiosis. I believe in order to clear up the skin and to balance hormones, we must begin with the gut. We also must address nutrient deficiencies. This does not sound pretty, but trust me it does end up that way! My patients who have completed my programs do enjoy radiant skin as well as more energy and vitality in general.
