Allan Mishra, MD is an adjunct clinical associate professor of orthopedic surgery at the Menlo Medical Clinic and the Stanford University Medical Center. He is also the founder of VitalityExplorers.com and a pioneering platelet rich plasma (PRP) researcher. His work has been published in elite medical journals and also featured on the front page of the New York Times. His initial PRP paper is the most cited elbow surgery paper of the 21st century and the fifth most cited paper of all time in that category. He also now works with a variety of institutions to optimize vitality. This work has included teaching a course on the subject at Stanford eight times, presenting at the University of Cambridge, Google, Apple and many other places. His book Dare To Be Vital serves as the required text for his courses and lectures. Dr. Mishra completed his undergraduate and medical school studies at the University of Michigan. He also did his residency in Michigan and then finished his training with a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Stanford. Dr. Mishra also enjoys training for triathlons and has cashed multiple times at the World Series of Poker.
