Alexa Henderson, MD, FAAMFM, ABAARM

Dr.  Alexa Henderson is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with 25+ years of hospital-based patient care experience.  She began her career as a Registered Nurse in 1992 and practiced for ten years as a Critical Care Nurse prior to attending Medical School at Indiana University in 2002. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Board Certification in 2009, and since that time, has practiced full time as an Internist.  

Dr. Henderson's passion lies in transforming lives with the new medical science, the future of medicine: Anti-Aging, Functional and Regenerative Medicine. She is fellowship-trained in Integrative/Functional Medicine and combines classic medical practice with the latest research to incorporate cutting-edge techniques designed to promote healthy lifestyles. She offers individualized nutrition and diet strategies, bio-identical hormone replacement, and stress reduction techniques that provide her patients with personalized plans to optimize health and wellness. She combines her love of medicine with empathy and individualized care for each patient.
