Wendy Askew, M.D., is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Askew is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Anti-Aging, Functional and Regenerative Medicine. She honorably served in the U.S. Air Force for 11 years prior to joining the Institute for Women’s Health. She earned her medical degree from The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland and successfully completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Wilford Hall Medical Center/Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Askew graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Askew is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family, including her two children.
