Prof. Dr. Yuriy graduated from one of the biggest medical schools in Eastern Europe. During his student years, he started his scientific investigations in the area of the long influence of high temperature on the nervous system of animals and humans. After completing his Medical Degree, he entered the post-graduate specialization in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care. At the same time, he joined the scientific clinical research group and completed his Philosophy Doctor’s dissertation. That study was devoted to polytrauma patients with brain injury. In 1997, he obtained a Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine, and in 1999, a Ph.D. in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care.
Prof. Dr. Yuriy is a firm believer that science and education are the basics of successful treatments for his patients. He is a member of the Scientific Committee on Hospital Diseases at the Ministry of Health, Post-Diploma Consultation Council, Scientific Problem Commission (Division Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care) at the Ministry of Health (UA). He is also frequently invited as a speaker and moderator at the national and international meetings in the field of Clinical Medicine, and has given over 90 lectures.
Currently engaged by the European Wellness Group, he looks forward to achieve new horizons in the improvement of the modern approaches to the treatment and prevention of severe diseases and disorders. He also aims to expand his training and master classes worldwide on new medical and wellness strategies.
