Sandeep Kapoor, MD

Dr. Kapoor has been providing extraordinary medical care to the Los Angeles and surrounding areas for over 20 years.  His concierge practice was inspired by his own childhood experience with medicine when his family doctor would visit him at home. Aspiring to mimic that intimate feeling, he created a concierge membership practice to provide patients with the time, availability, and personalized care they deserve. 

Throughout his childhood, Dr. Kapoor became involved with the senior population of his community, “adopting” multiple sets of grandparents in nursing homes and volunteering with dementia patients. Thus, his approach to medicine stems from his tender and warm-hearted personality. It is essential for him to get to know patients on a personal level and create genuine relationships with them. His passion for the elderly fuels him to continuously generate the best quality of life for them. Through a focus on prevention and overall wellness, he guides patients to live long, healthy, and enjoyable lives.

After earning his medical degree with honors from Boston University’s School of Medicine, Dr. Kapoor completed his residency in Internal Medicine Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and continued on to a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at UCLA, where he became Board-Certified in Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. He is now a nationally recognized medical expert, speaker, and lecturer in the areas of Primary Care, Preventive Health, Geriatric Medicine, and Pain Management. He is also actively involved in the battle against cancer as a co-founder of the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. 

Dr. Kapoor has pursued his ongoing interest in getting to the root cause of illness and began training at the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2017 and is now a Certified Practioner in functional medicine. He is also proficient in Medical Genomics to further “get to know” his patients and further enhance their wellness and longevity.
