Prof. Dr. Michael Papacharalampous

Dr. Papacharalambous, MD, PhD, began his medical studies in the Medical School of the University of Athens and graduated in year 1969. In 1972 he became Specialist in INTERNAL Medicine from the First University Clinic of Athens. Two years later, in 1974, he received his postgraduate degree in Pathology at the Hammersmith Hospital of the University of London. In the same year, he became director and medical director of the Pathology clinic at the ‘Agios Panteleimon’ Hospital. During his term he achieved both the development of Diagnosis Boards and the instalment of the first Axial Tomographic and Triplex Sonographer devices in Greece, in collaboration with Professor A. Nicolaides, University of London.

In 1987 Dr. Papacharalmbous received specialized training in Clinical Doppler ultrasonography in the Thomas Jefferson Hospital of the University of the U.S.A. In the same year, he completed his PhD studies in clinical Haematology titled: ‘The effect of Carbonic Anhydrase Erythrocyte in various diseases’ from the University of Athens. In 1988 he became head physician and occupational physician for Citicorp and Diners. Lastly, in 2005 Dr. Papacharalmbous founded the science company ‘Association of Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine’ and in 2006 he founded the Polyclinic ‘ORTHOBIOTIKI’.
