Dorothy Merritt, MD

Dr. Dorothy Merritt has been practicing medicine in Galveston County, Texas since 1987, when she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor in Houston. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and previously earned Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. She was a principal investigator in the national TACT (Trial to Assess Chelation Therapy) and is an adjunct faculty member of George Washington University in DC, an associate professor at UTMB, and a PA preceptor for Lincoln Memorial University. She has been the Co-Chair of the ACAM CAP training for several years along with Lyn Patrick ND.
