Upon completion of this module, the participants will:
- Understand, review and apply in clinical practice the pathophysiology of dyslipidemia .
- Understand, review and apply to patient care nutrition, nutritional supplements, exercise and weight management in the treatment of dyslipidemia.
- Understand, review and discuss the clinical presentation and cardiovascular relationships of dyslipidemia, coronary heart disease and CVD.
- Understand, review, discuss, select and apply laboratory testing for dyslipidemia and select appropriate treatment.
- Understand, review and apply in clinical practice cardiovascular risk factors and mediators, CVD labs and noninvasive CVD testing heavy metals and CVD.
