2013 Las Vegas Module XXIII(C)

Course Description Top

This module focuses on the concept of the co-active coaching model. It discusses fundamentals of the model, the basics of the co-active coaching relationship and the coaching power triangle. The program instructs on how to utilize co-active coaching contexts, principles, practices and other skills.

Barbara Fagan

Barbara Fagan takes a strong stand for positive change. After 20 years as a senior manager in corporations, she started a full-time coaching business to work with newly emerging technology companies. Her level of commitment to the success of the individual is unwavering. When Barbara leads others in experiencing their potential, she brings her rock-solid skills, grounded in a high-level of integrity, tradition and ritual. She also draws on her intuition with quick and witty “zaps-of-truth” that moves mountains of resistance in seconds. She’s committed to positive change in the world, which is one of the reasons she co-founded Source Point Training in 2009.
Barbara has worked as a coach and consultant in the domestic and international business community for over 25 years. As a Master Coach and Facilitator with over 7,000 hours spent in individual coaching sessions, she has coached business professionals from early-stage development to publicly-held, internationally recognized organizations. She assists clients in designing strategies to achieve their business imperatives, while communicating them in a manner that assures clarity and alignment for both employees and clients.
In 2003, she designed and delivered the first coach Training and Certification program for Resource Realizations based on her years of coaching experience. In 2004, she designed and delivered a Facilitator Certification Program and since has trained hundreds of certified coaches and facilitators who work worldwide today. These certification programs have been recognized by the International Coach Federation (ICF) with CCE’s.
Barbara is a past board member of Captura Corporation, Excel Recruiting and California Association of Student Councils and Big Brothers–Big Sisters mentoring program. She has been awarded the Marketing Models of Excellence for her outstanding achievement in product development and speaks at ASTD, SHRM and ICF meetings and conferences.

Candy McKinley-Cole

Candy McKinley-Cole’s background includes over 30 years in health care, in various clinical and administrative settings as a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. After starting with a 3 year diploma, she then continued to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, to a Master of Science in Nursing Administration, and 2 years post masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In each position, Candy took the opportunity to be that advocate for the individual she was working with.
Candy completed her certification as a Performance Coach in 2004, and further certified as a Leadership Coach and a Relationship Coach. She is passionate about supporting others to take the lead in their lives as evidenced by her having participated as a faculty coach for eleven different Leadership Programs and a Relationship Coach Training. She loves working with individuals as they achieve their goals and more than they thought was possible.
She recently completed her certification as a Facilitative Coach and an NLP Trainer and has begun to facilitate small groups in the San Jose area. Her topics include a Hero’s Journey, Change and Unwrapping the gift of You.
Candy loves to stretch what might be possible for herself and others. She has been down to 110 feet scuba diving, danced in the fire and jumped out of a perfectly good plane at 18,000 feet.
It is Candy’s passion and belief that any individual can change their life and their outcome through being clear in their purpose for starting the journey, setting a goal and moving toward it.
