TARGET AUDIENCE

Longevity, Aging, and Immuno Competency is designed for US-based healthcare professionals, including primary care clinicians (PCPs), nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), pharmacists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, neurologists, gastroenterologists, immunologists, and other allied health professionals.

STATEMENT OF NEED/PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Through an interactive and easy-to-navigate live online format, this integrative clinical two-day activity will connect practitioners from across the globe with leading medical experts while unpacking critical and strategic tenets of sustained health. This activity is focused on providing practical information and tools to be implemented as soon as learners return to their clinic on Monday morning. The morning lectures will report medical evidence on various disease states while the afternoon lectures include 2 concurrent breakout sessions, where clinical applications of the morning session will be discussed. Beyond the didactics, common and challenging patient case presentations will also be addressed.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss mechanisms, biomarkers, and treatments to address mitochondrial dysfunction, and quietening the immune system
  • Review how genetic predispositions, hormones, lifestyle and environmental interventions can impact chronic disease states
  • Synthesize the major causes of Inflamaging and ways to combat the time clock
  • Examine major toxins that impact the immune system
  • Apply disorders of neuroinflammation to Mast Cell Activation Syndrome
  • Review the use of botanicals and peptides in immune modulation
